Calista Chua

Profile
Calista is a counsellor and accredited social worker with over a decade of experience across the community, social service, and healthcare sectors. Counselling has remained a core aspect of her work, where she has journeyed with clients from diverse backgrounds through a range of issues and life stages. Having experienced the transformative power of therapy herself—and having witnessed it in the lives of her clients—Calista firmly believes in the value of a safe, supportive space where healing begins and meaningful change becomes possible.
Calista's background in social work gives her a unique lens as a counsellor, allowing her to deeply appreciate each client’s experiences within the broader context of their environment. Calista adopts an integrative and individualised counselling approach, grounded in the belief that there is no one-size-fits-all solution.
As part of Calista's ongoing professional development, she is currently pursuing certification in Attachment-Focused EMDR and Adlerian Play Therapy, with the hope of becoming an even more effective source of support for her clients.
